Our licensed techs conduct high-pressure testing, inspect internal check valves, and ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and local codes. What We Inspect During the 5-Year Hydrostatic Test
✓ Hydrostatic Pressure Test
The FDC is pressurized (typically to 200 psi) to assess strength and leak-resistance.
✓ Test Duration & Pressure Recording
Exact pressure and duration are logged, and whether the pressure held per NFPA 25.
✓ Leak & Damage Inspection
Visual and physical inspection of all fittings, valves, and piping under pressure.
✓ Check Valve Internal Inspection
Technicians open the FDC check valve (both wet and dry side) to assess internal condition.
✓ Photographic Documentation
Photos of check valve internals are captured.
✓ Functionality & Accessibility Check
