Suppression Systems

Suppression Systems

Restaurants and commercial kitchens pose special challenges as the types of equipment and type of cooking oils used create higher temperature fires.  ULC 1254 requires that restaurant fires suppression systems not only put out a fire, but secure it for a specific period of time.  This means that you are required to have in place a Wet Fire Suppression System with an automatic fuel shut-off that cuts off the electricity of stops the flow of gas to all appliances when the fire suppression system kicks in.

Alltron Systems (1990) is able to inspect your suppression system as required by NFPA 17a.
